Datasheet: IMI-1000_- Datasheet_Sept_2024 pdf 3.52Mb The IMI-1000 from Integrated Automotive UK is a retrofit CarPlay and Android Auto Kit that adds Carplay and Android Auto to the factory fitted Mercedes NTG4.5/4.7 audio system, found in cars manufactured 2009-2015. The kit gives an “OEM” feel and appearance as it retains the existing Mercedes display on your dash and connects to the rear of the head unit, this kit enables you to control CarPlay/Android Auto with the existing rotary controller and steering wheel controls or touch screen, if fitted. Compatible with Mercedes Steering Wheel Controls The IMI-1000 provides integration with steering wheel controls such as “Hang Up”, “Pick Up” and Volume adjustment Integration with Mercedes Control Knob and Buttons The IMI-1000 provides full integration with the Mercedes rotary controller and associated buttons, giving you full control of CarPlay and Android Auto Exceptional display quality utilising on board LVDS graphics processor Market Leading Audio Quality The IMI-1000 features a high quality digital signal processor and DAC(digital to analogue converter) which provides unrivalled audio quality. IMI-1000 automatically re-pairs with your phone (iPhone or Android phone) 3. CarPlay/Android Auto Automatically starts up on your phone 4. Mercedes COMAND switches to CarPlay/Android Auto automatically and you will be able to control it with your Mercedes controls 5. You can switch between the Mercedes interface and CarPlay by pressing and holding “HANG UP” on the central console 6. In all COMAND NTG4.X head units the AUX input can be enabled in the engineering menu (instructions on how to do this are provided when you purchase a unit from us.) On some AUDIO20 head units (found in A class and B Class) you will have to activate aux with our NTG4.5 Aux activator or use a MERCEDES MEDIA-AUX lead.
